Care and Maintenance<\/h1>

Our sleds are very easy to care for thanks to the proven construction and choice of materials.<\/p>

Nevertheless, please note a few points for a long service life:<\/p>

– Protect the sled from heat, eg in the car when the sun is shining. Plastic parts could become deformed due to the high temperatures.<\/p>

– Racing surfaces must be waxed before each ride to maintain good gliding properties. During the summer break, it is best to apply a layer of wax and only remove and brush it before the next use<\/p>

– It is best to use waxes from the cross-country sector.<\/p>

– Check the screws, rivets and lines before every ride and replace if necessary.<\/p>

– Dirt and road salt can be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner – at low pressure or from a greater distance.<\/p>

– Chafed tow lines\/start lines etc. must be replaced. You can exchange the lines on the Hornet XC\/ URS, European Open\/ XL and Odyss MD and Grand Odyss models yourself with replacement lines from our range. With the Flexmax (no longer in the program), the line must be replaced in our workshop if necessary.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
